Blake and Brandon Barber grew up on a large farm in central Indiana. Both boys began to be involved in rodeo early on and grew to be fanatics about the sport. They purchased several horses from Gail Turner in Lawton and when Brandon received a rodeo scholarship to Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, Blake and his wife Sarah decided to follow him and live at Lawton to work for Gail for 10 years. Blake and Sarah moved back to Indiana in 2016 but Brandon still resides in Fletcher, OK.
The boys had several good, solid rodeo horses but wanted to try to make a good young horse. They purchased a gorgeous big chestnut horse from Marty Miller named "Howdy" by the AQHA Superhorse Popular Resortfigure aka Poptart, now standing at stud in Brazil. Howdy was so athletic and easy to train that Blake and Brandon soon caught the bug for Poptart colts. Currently they have three Poptart fillies in training and plan for many more. They would like to have several Popular Resortfigure colts for sale at a time, unfortunately they like them too well and hang on to them!
